Token Migration

• The Token Migrator is for projects that want to release a new version of their token.

• Perhaps your Old or V1 token had some flaws that you want to rectify.

• Maybe you want to add a few new features.

The Token Migrator is an easy-to-use tool that you can use to allow users to convert their V1 Tokens to V2 Tokens. The platform works similarly to a swap where you can add your V1 token to the migrator to recognize it. You send your new tokens into the migrator through a transaction. This creates your own Migrator Pool and users can easily connect their web3 wallet and swap their V1 tokens for the V2 tokens.

Create a Token Migrator:

Check out the below steps to create a token migrator with BxFinance using your MetaMask wallet.

1. Click the Token Generator on the nav bar.

2. Now you will be redirected to the create Migration page.

3. Now you can input the v1 and v2 token details, follow the below steps to create a token migrator.

Step 1 - V1 Token Information:

1. Enter the token name on the V1 token name field. Use max 5 to 10 characters.

2. Enter the valid token name on the V1 token contract address field. Enter the valid token address.

3. Upload the V1 token image.

Step 2 - V2 Token Information:

1. Enter the token name on the V2 token name field. Use max 5 to 10 characters.

2. Enter the valid token name on the V2 token contract address field. Enter the valid token address

3. Upload the V2 token image

Step 3 - Verify your token details:

1. Before migrating the tokens, check the migrate token details for your reference.

2. Now, Click the Migrate button to migrate the token

3. MetaMask will now ask you to confirm the transaction. It will also show you the fee you must pay for that transaction. If you agree, click the “Confirm” button to finish the process.

Step 4 - Send v2 token to migrate:

1. In step 4 you can get the migration contract address. You can send the v2 token address to migrate address via Metamask or follow the below steps to send the v2 token to migrate address.

2. After entering the v2 token value, click to deposit button to send the v2 token to migrate the token address.

3. MetaMask will now ask you to confirm the transaction. It will also show you the fee you must pay for that transaction. If you agree, click the “Confirm” button to finish the process.

4. After the deposit transaction, the page will show the successful message. Click the migrate listing button to see the created listings.

Migrate v1 token to get a v2 token:

Check out the below steps to use the migrator using your MetaMask wallet.

1. Click the Token Generator on the nav.

2. Now you will be redirected to the create Migration page. And click the listings field.

3. Now the page will show the available migration listings. Choose your mitigated listing and click the migrate button. Note: You can’t migrate more than the available token.

4. Enter the V1 token amount in the V1 amount to Migrate text field.

5. Before migrating the tokens, you need to get approval. Click the approve button. Now MetaMask will ask you to confirm the transaction. It will also show you the fee you must pay for that transaction. If you agree, click the “Confirm” button to finish the process.

6. After the approval, click the migrate button. Now MetaMask will ask you to confirm the transaction. It will also show you the fee you must pay for that transaction. If you agree, click the “Confirm” button to finish the process.
